Museum News – Fall 2021

Museum News – Fall 2021

Our summer season this year was very good with a large number of visitors! In spite of the pandemic, we had the best July in our history.

During the year we have continued our themed educational emphases. Since August is return-to-school time for families, we focused on bullying. Our focus for September is reminding and educating our visitors about the events of 9/11, and that is truly appropriate for the 20th anniversary of that day in which so many innocent civilians lost their lives and in which so many law enforcement officers and other first responders selflessly tried to save lives.

Design and engineering are continuing on our super exciting project, The United States Law Enforcement Eternal Flame. This will be a truly amazing tribute to all members of the law enforcement family — past, present and future — that will properly honor the amazing, dedicated law enforcement officers who have played, play and will play their role that is essential for us to be able to safely and securely go about our daily lives.

Planning is underway for Phase 2 of the adjoining land. This phase will greatly enhance the experience guests to the American Police Hall of Fame & Museum may enjoy, and it will also be a nice asset for the areas surrounding our facility. We hope to be able to release more details soon!

Please give a warm and sincere thank you to the law enforcement officers in your community every time you have a chance. You’ll be glad you did.
