Twenty years ago, on Sept. 11, 2001, America fell victim to a terror attack within her borders. Shortly after the tragic event, several pieces of the towers and the planes were carefully gathered and delivered to the Police Hall of Fame, which was located in Miami at the time. The museum then had the pieces thoughtfully arranged and constructed into a beautiful permanent memorial that has been on display for nearly 20 years. The twin glass towers arise out of the ruble and carry the engravings of all the brave men and women of law enforcement who lost their lives that day.
